50′ cooking
Total: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Materials
Servings: 8
150 gr. butter
5 apples
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp. sweet cinnamon
Dough
4 eggs
1 cup of sugar
2 vanilla pods
1 ½ cups self-raising flour
Procedure
For the easy upside down apple pie, wash and clean the apples from their
skins and pits. Cut them into slices.
Turn on the oven at 180°C.
Put the butter in a medium-sized pan and heat it in the oven for 5-6 minutes,
until it melts. As soon as it melts, take it out of the oven.
Do not close the oven, leave it at 180°C.
Layer the apple slices in the pan with the melted butter and sprinkle them
with the sugar and cinnamon.
Beat the eggs with the sugar in the mixer at high speed until fluffy and add the
vanillas.
Stop the mixer and very slowly add the flour, mixing with a spatula.
Pour the dough over the apples and bake for 40-45 minutes.
Take the apple pie out of the oven, let it cool and turn it over onto a large
plate.
