The company Th. Chatzidakis S.A trades abroad 2000 tonnes of apples of all varieties. Naturally, Red Delicious are the predominant species followed by the Granny Smith of the area of Agia, which are considered the best in Greece thanks to their colour, taste and endurance in the cold chambers. Recently, coloured varities such as Gala and Fuji have started to occupy a grater market share.The apples are preserved in controlled atmosphere and stored in various packages in order to meet the needs of each client.
